My Paris posts are coming to a close, however I’m ending the series on a high note with one that’s all about design. (Speaking of, did you miss Paris Part 1 or Part 2?)

Paris was everything I imagined and more, but I had no idea there would be so much graffiti and street art. These pops of design ended up being a great form of inspiration. Wild color palettes and animated lines came to life as I strolled down the picturesque streets. Each encounter with a new illustration felt like I was uncovering a small Parisian secret. For a city so full of history and romance, I thought it was an interesting juxtaposition to see such a modern form of creative expression at almost every turn.

While Paris looks lovely in color, it seems like a place that is meant to be photographed in black and white. Perhaps, it’s because it presents the classic city in the most timeless way possible.
