Joshua Tree
Joshua Tree, CA
Last week, I got to take a trip to Joshua Tree. Joshua Tree has always been on my to-go list and when I got the chance to finally go, I jumped. It is so vastly different than the [what it seems like] wetlands of Kentucky, with open highways, jagged boulders, brittle bushes, and of course, the spindly, majestic Joshua Trees.
Starting in the south entrance of the park, the landscape is next to flat aside from the Pinto Mountains. Driving along you begin to see the Cholla Cactus Garden, boulders, and finally the beginnings of hundreds of Joshua Trees. It was such a cool place and i'm already planning a trip back. I hear March and early April are best to see the flowers bloom and October/November have the best light. Gotta think those options through. Anyway, below are some of my favorite pictures from Joshua Tree. Enjoy!
I've really wanted to introduce more interior photography here on YGF. It's one of my favorite things to photograph and the Parker Palm in Palm Springs, CA was no exception.
